One mallet per team, mallet's lined up should work if we make it happen. We can keep the rotation a lot quicker that way. Next team is always ready to go. A simple left-to-right order should always work, no?
Ideally this would work, but lining the mallets up in the fence has never, ever worked. We tried it thursday, we've tried it loads of times at brick lane. People just don't pay attention, it takes just as long for somebody to realize who's game it is (after the previous game is already over), get their mallet, put down their beer, get their bike, round up their teammates, take a drink of beer, get on the court and wait for that last person who has some adjustment to make when they've had hours to do so!
One mallet per team shuffled in for each game works. This could all 3 teammates mallets and you only shuffle one out, that team is in. Or one designated mallet from a team is thrown in...
Winner stays on, max 3 consecutive games should work out really well.
