Fixed tricks, fine if you have fun doing them but don't complain if people point out it's a bit gash. The level of skills is pretty low at the moment. It's kind of the same situation mountain bike tricks were at a few years ago, in that some bmxers just started doing it and were the best pretty quickly whereas they couldn't have been bmx pros as easily. Some of it is impressive, but it's at such a basic level it makes itself easy to mock. Maybe when it progresses it will gain more respect from other 'extreme' sports. I think that bombing a hill on a fixed gear looks much better than a wheelie to barspin also.
