my god does no one go to a barbers anymore?! £30 for a hairdo! is this the going rate now? i've had a DIY shaved head for years and have finally let it grow out in a bid to look more respectable/get a better job. ah well.

There's a bit of a difference between someone running a set of clippers over your head, and someone giving you a skillful cut. If you just want something basic, go to Mr Toppers - it's about 6 quid a cut.
