Done it once, didn't do any damage (surprsing as I hit it with the end on my bull horns) but I pulled over, apologised and asked the guy did I do any damage. To be honest he looked more scared than anything, probably expecting me to cycle off =P
But yeah, just imagine what you'd want a driver to do if he hit your bike.
