When over today.
Twas indeed closed. They are hoping to open on Wednesday, its mainly a questions of a till I think.
But because I'm beautiful I got the guided tour.
The 14 frames and forks are lovely. They are doing them as full custom too, rather then a OTP style thingy. Prices from £400, including custom sizing. More for different tubes / custom geometry. Fillet Brazed or Lugs or a combination of the two. Lots of different tubes availible. Mainly Columbus it seems. They also have some chrome tubes. Full chrome frame, lush. The paint quality looked really nice. 2 week turn around time on new builds apparently.
The other stuff is lovely. Laid out like jewelry in a jewelry store.
Loads and loads of stuff I haven't seen in shops in london before. Large range of profile and tree stuff. Right down to the little details like 3Rensho gloves and gold track nuts. No prices out and I didn't ask, so I'll have to wait and see for later.
They also had THE most amazing 3 Rensho Lo-pro or two. So low there is no way you could ride 'em on the street.
Really nice stuff, and a really friendly guy inside when I was there.
Kudos to every one involved. London needs a track bike porn shop, and a custom track frame builder.
