Fiddy, I not only emailed them, but had a chat with the manager by phone. I strongly made the point, that Gazelle were respected and could be a real presence and a welcome alternative in the fixed/track/ss market.
Let's hope for good things.
It would be nice, but considering that Gazelle have told the Dutch magazine Fiets that the road racers were no priority anymore, I'd say there's not a very big chance of a track frame being built by them. They still do a line of road racers, but have stopped building the custom road framesets they used to have. Crying shame, obviously, but with the very small market for track frames in Holland I doubt they'll built one soon...

Mine is a '95 build, no clue when GT started, but I'm very sure rih didn't invented it.

I am! It's taken me about 6 months.......rather than going 'ah, fuck, that'll do'.
Seriously slack man. I've been riding my Gazelle road conversion (not as nice as yours to be fair) for about the last 10 months or so. Replacement for it should make it by April....

I know :) but I'm in no rush to build it same as I won't be in any rush to get rid, it'll be a keeper.

Not beautiful ,but interesting, "ultra-light" aluminium and carbon frame. Others added above also.

Take a good look at the toptube and downtube joins.

So Ash, are you going to have a new project starting from scratch?

I dunno Ed, but I am a bit tempted. You take one of my kids off my hands, and that will free up loadsamoney!!
We'll see. Maybe convert my hybrid first, then move on up from there.

you don-t necessary need to spend it all in one go, since you already have a bike, times is your friend, as time go by, you slowly build the bike up once you get the frame, it work out cheaper that way, especially when getting part for less than the RRP (like a Nitto handlebar for £30 instead of £60 due to credit crunch).
also using part from your old bike, getting parts from friend, especially at the pub etc.
