There's a non-English guy with a silver Rossin called Mike, his bike is superb. Don't know his forum name, though. He's got a spoke card with my name on it..

I'm no expert and looking for a frame at a good price.
Can anyone tell me if this Rossin frame from the 90's at 350 euros is a good deal?Comes with original decals
-
• #17
if it had forks and outstanding paint. on higher end though, especially with strong euro.
-
• #18
Thanks! I'll ask if there are forks to go with it and try to get a better price. Really like the geometry though.

I realize this thread is 6 months old, but if anyone's interested I'll share what little I know of Rossin when I'm not tipsy (post 1993 the name was sold and I know very little beyond that time period).

I'm just starting to work on this Rossin here:
http://www.londonfgss.com/post1036510-17641.htmlBe glad if anyone have any more info on this model... not-round (called it hex, but then i started thinking) tubing and Columbus Matrix-tubeset. Perhaps it's called Rossin Quadro Matrix or something like that?
I'll post more photos when I get all the shit parts off the frame and have given it a bit of a cleanup :) it surely needs it..

Nigel at Campyoldy has some sweet Rossins,
and could probably help you with authenticity build up information.

goddam every time I look at these I want to build #8 ---must resist.... -

I'm not going to overdo it, the paint is damaged a little and I'm sure as hell not going to repaint it :) ... Mostly I want the bike to work for audax-rides, will be aiming after Shimano 600 STi of about the same era, and if I'm right that the frame is medium-range that should be pretty authentic since Rossin came with both Shimano and Campagnolo.. :) perhaps some parts will be Dura-Ace, perhaps some will be lower range.. :)
Thanks for the info.. I'll try contacting Nigel when I have some better photos.
i've got myself a rossin frame off jos, and i can tell its obvious quality and have heard many good things about the make, yet i have not seen another rossin frame? or heard of a website that stocks them? infact i've never seen any shop stock them or heard of another person who has come across one. can anybody fill me in?
cheers
