That chap Smudge was friends with a few of my friends. It's tragic.

A couple of days ago, I was in a cab going through Central Park in New York (65th Street) when I saw a Ghost Bike by the road. It made quite an impression. I hope that they make similar impressions on drivers.

had to explain the concept to a couple of peds that were looking curiously at the one at the bottom of stamford hill. they were shocked by its meaning and saddened, ghost bikes are great way to spread awareness and provoke respect for road safety etc.

"even with training, london's unlikely to be truly safe for cyclists, so the ghost bikes will stay..."

I saw the Smudge ghost bike on Tuesday and gave it some thoughts.
Then today I cycled to pick up some records shleve, and had to use taxi for the return trip with my bike in the back. Me and driver got chatting about cycling around London, it turns out he was one of the witness for that incident. It was truly tragic and had me thinking all day.
saw one for a guy named smudge amongst others.
