Spotted this, cracking pic of a Legnano with swooping Maes bends bars. From Life Magazine 1960.

I'll have retired before Mather ever gets back to me.
In fact, I am confident that I could put myself on the Vanilla queue and purchase a bike or two from them, sequentially, before Mather gets back to me.

BTW, I love that bike. Understated. Lots of porn, dressed up in classic style.

When I went for a photo shoot at Brooklands, turn out the card I brought for my DSLR is corrupted, and 100 photos of 10 different models is all lost, fuck sake, so luckily I have a film body as well, so here's some photo of a bike at Brooklands (I have more in my memory stick but alias);
oldest lo-pro?;
this is the brake set-up on that bike, pretty niffy (basically in order to brake, the lever go up touching the underside of the rim);

best thing to do is to go through the whole topic, it's actually more enjoyable than you'd think (I did the same a while back).
