o.k you've got me interested, i want to know what there made from.
as i said i got these checked out by nigel from wilsons, he thought they were kosher he;s the one you told me they were SL, they were lighter than forks he had made from reynolds 531.
they can't be plain old steel as they be heavier than they are.they're old, you can tell from the age to the chrome.i sell architect designed furniture for a living and i'm used to see vintage metalwork, it very hard to fake old metal finishes.
theres columbus framesets with this style of forks on www.matuzmaster.hu/en
i'd like more info on them for future reference, and so i can sell them correctly
