It says on the website they are track end but they don't look right do they.
Its just the boardman comp with not gears so its made more for sport and travel rather than something to look at -

i've seen worse looking bikes on this forum...

yeah i agree, but it's not really worth £450 to me. Suppose it's better than most of the bikes available at halfords

I heard the obree brand ss/fg bike came out last week.

Yeah, the Zanussi.

Its the first bike in the main OTP list, but whats good about it, is its weight for the price.
£500, and approximately 19lbs I believe. Yes, sadly, the looks are extremely unremarkable.

Yeah, the Zanussi.

Anyone making mean washing machine jokes about Graeme Obree and his bikes is a soulless bastard brainwashed by the tabloid press. So there.
The man's an absolute legend. Obree bikes:

His book is well worth reading, too. A very considerable cut above most sports biographies.

ive ridden a comp and it was actually really quite nice. very light and smooth ride. i reckon this would be a nice bike to ride.
i agree thats its completely unappealing visually.

saw one in bikehut in st pauls yesterday, it does have track endsi've got a geared comp (currently in for repair) and it's really good value for the money, but not particularly stylish.

Rollapaluza got to meet the bike and the man in September last year....it looked like a nice bike in the flesh, I took some pics back then intending to post them here....then forgot!

My brother's friend got one last year (a road one that is), says it's a very good bike.

The Boardman bikes are cracking value at the prices - and from what i have read of reviews in various mags they are great bikes.
I dont think it looks any worse than the Various Langsters/Bowreys etc
In fact i quite like the way that it makes no concessions to the Hipster crowd in its styling.

My most favouritest cycling book ever, not for the cycling content strangely, it's a real insight...

yeah i concur, i like the lack of concession to current fashion. its a pretty good alternative to the fuji track, but more realistic about the enviroment its actually going to be ridden in.
ive actually come round to not minding the way it looks, but ill never get on with sloping top tubes

I'll never get on with sloping top tubes
another option for otp bikes think it costs £450
