  • My condolences to everyone who knew her. I am so sorry.

  • I've emptied the paypal account that was collecting money for the forum, and for the next few weeks it will be exclusively used for collecting any donations to go towards flowers, and everything else to the charity that velcro mentioned.

  • it's hard to swallow.
didn't know her, but a fellow cyclist is a friend indeed.

    May You Rest In Peace.

Whenever the ride may be, I will be there.

Where can I find this Pay pal account?

  • Top right hand corner of every page.

It still says it's for the forum... but not true, every penny received for the next fortnight will go to flowers and the charity.

Further, my donation will be to cover every penny of the paypal fees to ensure that what you donate actually goes on flowers and to the charity with no paypal deductions.

  • got it.
    money has been donated.
always have a pound or two for a cause like this.

See you in the next life.

  • Shit, just clicked on this and had no idea, still cant quite believe it - when i read Velcros first post it was like someone had punched me in the stomach - my thoughts and prayers are with you, and Eilidh's family, may she rest in peace.

  • Such tragic news. I am so sorry Giles, Kate, stimpy and all of Eilidh's friends and family. I first read this thread on Friday and I couldn't seem to find the words to express how shocked and saddened it made me. Now that I've read all these messages, I really hope that some comfort can be taken in that a whole community is thinking of you.

And Thank You for letting us get involved, I didn't know Eilidh but I would really like to join the memorial ride in her honour.
