I'll go for the Spaghetti Option, if my arm isn't twisted by Clefty to come and collect that enormo lock that I've been promising to pick up. Incidentally, Lidl on Acre Lane will be selling a cheap set of calipers (£7 or so) as of next week, cheap as chips, and probably as accurate.
