I got stopped by a motorbike policeman for going right round a keep left sign (on a straight piece of road). He got very annoyed because I genuinely didn't know that i'd done it. I thought he had stopped me for riding on the right rather than the left. He asked me if I thought it was better to be fast than to obey the law, and I replied 'Yes.' He said that I was clearly a lost cause and that fining me was as much a waste of time as giving a car crash victim a parking ticket (or something), and sent me on my way.
