What do you say to the rozzers when you get stopped for something petty?

And it's not just one offs either, I was out riding my BMX with a mate and we were in a hospital car park. Car park's empty, nice wallride there, we're having a nice session. Police turn up after 20 minutes, want to take our names and details in case of any accidents with cars and we run off. Both of us comply because we like the spot, and if giving our details means we can keep riding for another 30 mins to an hour then we're happy to do that. Then I get asked to empty my pockets and take off my shoes etc etc get searched under section 44. My mate doesn't get searched, it's almost like they thought, hey we could totally use section 44 right now to make this guy's night worse, so let's use it.

Both our forms they gave us are filled in differently too, I was stopped and searched under section 44, wheras my mate was just stopped and questioned on a completely separate matter apparently.

By rights, as an acquaintance of yours, your friend should have been searched under Section 44 as well. I'm taking a guess that after continual misuse of this law, you're not exactly feeling that 'if you've got nothing to hide...' vibe?
