its very difficult one to balance because although you may not know him its hard to like him given that he is buying all this product (that we love) seemingly from everywhere and selling it outside of genuine enthusiast price range. if he was making/producing the product then i think it would be easy to accept. on the other hand it is business and the nature of good business as said already is; buy it from one place and sell it in another for more than you bought it for. the point of parting out vintage bikes again difficult because most high end vintage cycles would have been bought as frames and then components added, no?. over a few years with parts wearing out or better parts being available it would have evolved slightly. in a strange way the parting out of cycles puts more vintage cycles back on the road looking complete than it does keeping one off. i guess its that frustration we feel when we see something interesting listed and we resolutely think "what, he has another one?" or you leave a jumble and there is nothing there because everything good sold an hour before the doors opened to the general public. we just have to look where he looks :-)
