they try and market these tyres as comparably good as air ones whereas they are heavier, clunkier and absorb shocks poorly.

From their website: We supply a fitting kit complete with a Greentyre lever and cable ties to make fittting easier.

I really wouldn't ride on a tyre that needs to be cable tied on !!!

Not saying they are good or bad but the cable tie is just a tool for fitting. There is a fitting video on their website.
