Bike on the road but not finished
It's an old "Alan" frame from Italy.
Need to sort some SPD's out and a plain seatpost. Also running a very spinny 42/17 cause it's all we had in the shop. And would help if the frame wasn't slightly compressed, hopefully it won't fall apart on me
vintage bits badly needed for this build...

I've just finished my Katana Tsunami, built with:
Nitto NJS bars and seatpost
Soyo grips
SR NJS stem
Planet X tub wheels with Conti Duraskin tubs
Truvativ Omnium cranks
105 front brake with Kore suicide leverIt's gorgeous BUT I built it up to commute on, only to find my local train co wonn't take bikes (other than the folding variety!!!) so now I'm goin to have to sell it to invest in a (gulp) folder instead.....might be interested in a partial swap deal....but bear in mind it cost me £1300 to build and its been ridden up the road ONCE!!!!
I'm going to list it on the classifieds section once I'm out of the nursery (!!).....look out for it!
tubs - not cheap option for commute, dear punctures...

Just wanted to show off my current project.
Bought this Woodrup frame a couple of months ago and I've just got around to spraying it. I spent ages sanding and filing it down, removing the unwanted lumps and bumps as well as the paint. Primer, then topcoat. The clearcoat goes on this weekend.
Can anyone help me with the age/name? All I know is that it's a Woodrup frame (Reynolds 531 steel).
you stripped an original woodrup, hacked off braze-ons, then painted it black. Fuck me, what has this world come to.

I really liked those over-the-BB cable guides as well. Nice little feature. -

That Woodrup can be dated from the serial number as Dale said: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/British_isles/Woodrup/Woodrup_serial_numbers.htm
You've killed it to death.
I weep for our children.

Finally got my frame from Mercian. Still in the early stages of the build, waiting for a few final things before i put it together properly.
Really pleased with the frame. Mercian put 631 stickers on the frame and fork, which i'd asked them not to do, was a bit annoyed... but they've grown on me a bit now.Wrong on SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many levels
