with no reason to suppose that anyone will say yes (i've certainly added very little to the forum in the while i've been here) i'm going to ask a big ish favour —
I'm having shoulder surgery and will be off my bike for a while and in a sling for three weeks. I'm not allowed to do anything that might disturb it, but the surgeon said I could go on an exercise bike.
I'd rather go on my bike in my sitting room in front of the TV and at least get some exercise....
I'm not at all familiar with types of trainers or what would be suitable, but then as I'm basically asking a group of strangers for a favour i'm not really too fussy!
I might buy one, but I don't think i'll use it as soon as I'm able to ride again, so i'd rather not, but if you're selling one second hand i'd also like to hear about it.
ps i ride single speed, but had thought about flipping my wheel and buying a fixed sprocket... (if i'm not moving, i can't fall off.... right?)
