  • I fail. Will is sometimes the bane of my life.
    Have fun (without me)

  • ha! i got there - there's noone around except this guy on a fixed who i don't know. i say "...er.. are you here for the ride...?" he says "no I'm not.. but there's another guy who's looking for you.. fgss?" "cheers mate". In fact I might have said "are you looking for a ride".....

..anyway to the dude who was there - i couldn't find you.. really sorry to waste your time. I rode round Blackfriars for about twenty minutes and went back to work..

  • Sounds most jovial.

  • Sounds most jovial.

spiffing is what i say 'ole chap'

  • in like flynn

(what does that expression refer to anyhow?)

  • This phrase is commonly said to be a reference to Errol Flynn, the Australian film actor. Flynn was famous for his romantic swashbuckler roles in Hollywood films and for his flamboyant private life. His reputation as a hard-drinking, hell-raising ladies' man was apparently well justified, although it has doubtless been enhanced by his delight in playing up to his image. For instance, he entitled his autobiography - My Wicked, Wicked Ways and also did nothing to dispel the incredible but nonetheless widespread rumours as to the the size of his penis and the number of women who had shared his bed. Flynn was acquitted in February 1943 for the statutory rape of a teenage girl.

  • huh? well 'in like flynn' is not one i'm acustomed with but means 'To be quickly and/or emphatically successful, usually in a sexual or romantic context', holds relation to the Errol Flyn the ussie actor

  • basically yer good at getting yer willy wet lol ;)

  • in like flynn

(what does that expression refer to anyhow?)

if your in, fancy organising the route?
