I bought one off a tramp outside Hackney Tescos for £5 last Valentines day for the missus. But gave it away in the end.
Also saw one abandoned on Bethnal Green rd on Sunday after the market. I assume because of the 2 flat tyres. I wasn't allowed to take it home though!

Ask about the one in Scooter Works on Lower Marsh? Its been sat there for ages as part of their furniture, but it needs some work to be done on it. I got an ebay Raleigh 20 for £15, inlcuding the original saddle bag, vintage lights, brooks saddle, matching pump. The only downside was it was in Keighley, home of the obese and the BNP.

I have one free for pickup from Walton on Thames, it does need some work but not an absolute basket case.
Will post a pic later

that looks like quite a good match to the photo at the top of the thread. with spokey dokeys as a bonus!
Hello all,
It's Lady Pioneers birthday coming up and she's been cooing all over the number of little shopper bicycles parked up around her house recently. Does anyone have one knocking about, or a friend who might?
Ideally something like this:
I've looked on ebay, but everything seems to be based in Edinburgh for pick up only or over in west london and charging through the nose.
I'd be willing to pay up to around £50ish depending on condition. Ideally it would be red, black or white (them being her favourite colours).
or does anyone know of any bike shops in London that might have one for sale? I've tried the usual Evans/CycleSurgery/Magic Bicycle but they only have ugly new ones for sale
thanks for any help
