Nice bag. I've been thinking of getting one of those, but have no money right now.
I found it funny that the guy on Flickr filled his pack with PBR. Of course he would.

I have no idea what the deal is with PBR but it seems to be hypercool in That America by all accounts.

shittest car ever is, in fact, the fiat 126.
abysmal in every way.
VW beetles are a pretty shit effort too, despite every middle class student in the 90's owning one.
I know there's gonna be flak about that, fuck it. I don't care. poke your hitler wagons. hohoho

I think it has something to do with irony. Or hipsters co-opting American 'working class' cultural signifiers, like trucker caps and whatnot. As a beer goes, it's not bad. If, by 'not bad,' you mean 'not bad if you like the taste of American-style lagers.' I still prefer Budweiser.

Irony! of course, I should have known.
i think i'll give PBR a miss if it can be described as a second-rate Budweiser...

Is dogsnballs actually rolling on the floor laughing?
Budweiser is made of rice. Fact.

I imagine a dog's balls do often roll around on the floor. Dunno about laughing though. Is a Hyena a kind of dog?

Budweiser is made WITH rice. Fact! (It has other stuff, too, like barley and hops).

Fair enough. I wonder if you would like malt liquor (a la Colt 45 or Old English).

bud = coitus 10ft above the sea.
(to paraphrase MPFC)PBR is 5ft.
I don't know about cool, but last time I visited my brother he bought a pitcher (aprox 3pints) for $4... this is when the pound was 2:1 with the dollar... whereas a pint of guiness from the same place was slightly over $4.

• #23
Khornight, what's your point?!
-
• #24
Last time I went home, the pound was about 2:1 with the dollar, but it seemed like everything had gone up in price since I had been there last. That said, 3 dollars or so for a beer wasn't too bad. Some places will do a bucket of PBR (in cans) for a cheap price.

evening bump
Hi all,
For sale is my Chrome Ranchero backpack. It's black with a red 'stripe' on the flap and red liner. It's used but in very good condition, having been used occasionally for about 9 months, and has no scuffs or holes or stains or anything like that. It's a really good bag but surplus to requirements. You can't get these readily in England and if you could they'd sell for about £120+.
here i am, and here it is (thanks to Elguapo for the photo)...
The bag on the Chrome website...

For pictures, this guy on Flickr has the exact same bag in the same colour...
