  • I might be down later, after 9pm probably. If anyone fancies seeing 'The Road to Roubaix' before (finishes 8:45pm), come to Cycling Club Hackney's inaugural club night and get to know us:

    http://cyclingclubhackney.blogspot.com/

On Wednesday 28th January CCH are launching their new weekly club-night at the Barnebas Centre on Homerton High Street.

To celebrate this development (in partnership with Core Arts ) and to introduce CCH members, associates, friends and family to the venue, the hall will become a cinema for the evening. There will be a screening of the acclaimed film 'The Road To Roubaix'.

Released in 2008, this film captures the spirit, emotion and feel of the legendary French cycling spring classic; 'Paris Roubaix', and features many of the worlds top pro racing cyclists as well as views from those that follow the race road side.

Refreshments will be available in the foyer
    Doors open 6.15pm
    Film start 6.45pm
    Running time 75m
    Doors close 8.45pm
Address: The Barnabas Centre, 109 Homerton High Street London E9 6DJ

I'll be there first and will try to make it down to Easts afterwards.

    it is a good film.

  • hobnobs? gingernut?

try talking Scott's language dogs. Even I know he's a fruit shortcake fiend.

  • might. feeling better. also need to ask scott for some webbing for power straps.
Use a belt like everybody else. Scott's straps are awesome but not as long lasting, they also require some serious machinery to sew the four layers together and I've seen your flat, there was nothing close to appropriate for that kind of sewing.

  • Fuck it, fuck work, fuck not having a social life for all of January. I'm in.
    See you later.

  • Woo. I will bring those carabinas and brush I borrowed.
edit: +1 fuck work its pissing me off too.

  • Work... whats that ? :(

  • prodigal kirth, where have you been?

  • ah, wanted to make my easts (or any drinks for that matter) debut tonight but the baby is being fractious, hope to make it next week- once upon a time the Royal Inn was my local.

  • prodigal kirth, where have you been?

Hiding from the crappy weather in far away places... well ok, in my bedroom! I figured I should brave it tonight and no doubt i'll get soaked ;)
    I'll be up around 8.30ish

  • Nice one mr Skulls. x

  • i can see you stb.. what you sayin'?

  • Yay! Its Wednesday!!!! The Downs crew will be rocking up around 8:30-9:00ish.
