  • Great pics - top effort all round. Wish I'd been there myself.

  • Woah all the chicks look SMOKING HOT on this run. Can't believe I swerved it.

    Ngggggggggggggg!

  • ooh la la

Ambassador, wiz zeze Oh La La's you are really spoiling us.

    !

  • My favourite bike along with Gerald's chrome Hetchins, Bruno's red Hetchins, David's fantastic thirties chrome single speed and a couple more... I was rooting for this one to win the Bike competition, such an elegant paint job and simpatico componentry (never got close enough to really have good look). Mudguards the same colour as contrasts for the win!

  • heh, you lot even got a mention on bikesnobnyc for this effort

  • Ha! that was me, I still think "I woz robbed" on the bike competition!

what a fine afternoon it was, such a shame the gin ran out before the bar staff arrived. I was set for an evening of dancing and drinking at the working mans club.

Top Marks on a wonderful ride Ted. When do we get to play again???

  • News of the Tweed Run has reached Japan.......

The caption reads (roughly).... Wow, this is sooo cool! Young and older (that's me) cyclists, on both fixed and freewheel, enjoyed this great ride in London, which was also enjoyed very much by the spectators...

There's some good bicycle porn on this blog too

"All that remains is for these bamboo freaks to band together and take to the streets, like those Tweed Run weirdos in London."

"..."Tweed Run weirdos in London"...they're english...pretty self explanatory..."

I think this may just be a clash of different cultures of snobbery. ;)

  • god bless you bernie for this one. even i was started to believe the rumours that i wasn't on the Tweed Run on Saturday !

  • @ Jonny, that was the easy bit. It was trying to do the lycra base layer that took the time. Thanks again Snowy for sorting them out. Must learn some IT skills with son and heir away at uni....

What bike is it, Bristly? Also that bike with the twin top tubes and flat mudgaurds was really nice.

I missed the gin too - too busy smokin cheroots outside.

  • nice to see Jonny was able to wear the same clothes he usually does.

I think most of you made an exceptional effort, and it looks like it went very smoothly.
    well done
