Hey Gustav, I've been working on doing exactly the same thing as part of a three event series for the winter. I found an ideal place along the greenway, right by the new Olympic stadium. It's floodlit at night and well away from traffic, so there's very little danger. Very few people walk along there at night, so if you had someone at either end, you could make sure no peds got in the way.
