• As previously mentioned, I am getting together my first build so need some bits and bobs, I am doing this on a fairly tight budget so nothing new, I like scratches - adds character!
    The list:

    144 BCD 45/46T chainset,
    Rolls black saddle,
    generic black seatpost (27.2),
I could also do with black stem and riser handle bars (plus grips)

I live in London and dont mind picking up.
    Cheers,
    Matt.

    Edit: And lots of stickers!

    Just the chainring.

Seatpost would ideally be around 300mm to give myself some 'wiggle' room for height (I dont have the frame on me at the moment so cant measure properly). Adman, I will give you a pm when I get a second today.

Would prefer the low raiser bars to be black (going for blue/black design).

That sir, is a deal. Pm incoming (again when I get a second)

Sorry, forgot to mention that the chainring needs to be 1/8th

  • Sorry, forgot to mention that the chainring needs to be 1/8th

But a 1/8th chain and sprocket will work with a 3/32th chainring.

    If you're willing I have a new, packaged, Dura-ace track chainring that's 144BCD, 46T and 3/32

  • Forgive my ignornace, but I previously believed that you had to use a 1/8th chain on a 1/8th chainring or there is a chance the chain will come off [i.e. if you use a 1/8th chain on a 3/32th chain ring ]?

I am using a 1/8th chain and sproket at the moment.

  • Nope. I run a 3/32 ring with a 1/8 chain, works fine. Some claim it increases ware a little, but I can't say I've noticed!

How much do you want for it ? Pm me if you would prefer.

    Cheers.
