Hi Paul - I loved the bike you were riding with the ad-board and front rack.

Hi Paul,
Nice to meet you on saturday. I enjoyed our chat leading up to the Mall steps, and loved your Pashley.Likewise, I would of loved to have completed the ride but Huntsman shuts at 5 so I had to return the bike.
(It would get pinched around my way!)

Paul
Did you do the whole ride in the end?
Mick (the spectator in tweed suit outside your shop before the off...)
Hi Mick,
No I had to return the bike before five pm. It also is not the most comfortable machine over more than five miles or so!! I'll ride mine next time. -

That was a fine loking suit you were wearing sir. I'm so glad i saw it. Its now firmly lodged in my memory bank.
Thank you very much and what a great excuse to dress up!!

I only ever need the smallest of excuses. 'The sartorialist' would have loved it. :-)

Wow! I am truly overwhelmed by the responses to my photos.
To all of you PM-ing and emailing me requesting pix, yes no problem, but could you please email me the image number, and a link to it? There are some double image numbers so I don't always know which one you want.
Also, if you've written to me to request using my pix for blogs and the like, that's fine, go for it, but a link back to flickr and a credit that reads www.roxyerickson.com is super appreciated.
My email is roxy"at" roxyerickson dot com
I'm chuffed.

I ve just joined, inspired by the Tweed run.
I ve just rediscovered the joys of tweed and cycling and seeing those pictures reminded me of when i used ride around london in tweed in the eighties , think Haircut 100....
BTW- I saw at least one of the riders at the Glendene jumble that morning ...

What strikes me about all those photo's of the event is the huge beaming smiles on everone's faces. It was one one very special day and a privilege to have taken part!
