• Ever since I gave up drinking a few years back

    I have had a problem getting to sleep

    my work goes on around the clock

    I am semi resident across two continents

    & I seem to be near permenantly connected

    via school and work and entertainment

    to the internet

    I have lost by sleeping cues

    and any notion of 'bedtime'

    fundamentaly I am still acting the LOON

    when really i need to chill

    switch off and go to bed

    I thought maybe I could listen to some relaxing music

    maybe something classical ?

    I thought someone around here might know something about classical music

    its not just about the type of music dude, its getting an association in your mind so you can get asleep, if you condition your mind and build up a routine , try stuff like sounds of the rainforest or de-stress cd's, my girlfriend has stress/depression induced insomnia and she listens to them and they really help her to sleep, she also does some yoga to help her 'chill the fuck out', classical music is ok but is rather an aquired taste if you ask me lol ;)
