What a thrilling ride and wonderful day out. Well done to all who organised, stewarded, sponsored and rode and documented. (Cheers esp to Teddy).
Also thanks to all who helped when my lady was bumped off her bike on hackney road. She was ok and the b****trd who did this was suitably chastened once he reralised that I called the police. (I withdrew my compaint at my lady's behest once she realised she and bike were fine.)
The reaction from the public was amazing, everyone was smiling. This should be a regular diaried event in the capital which will become a focus for tourists flocking from all over the word to view tradditional looking english type folk doing high jinks in mid winter. (or would it be better for a summers day - my cricket whites wouldn't be so out of place -though tweed may be a mite warm)
