Another vote for Roxy's photos. enjoyed them so much that I had to stop lurking and register to show my appreciation. Some other great photos out there too.

Can a chap have too much fun? I simply haven't stopped grinning all day.
Thank you so much to everyone who arranged, organized, sponsored and marshalled; it was a truly perfect day. I was lucky enough to win the Huntsman tie and I'm too scared to put it on! Far too refined for a tramp like me...
You were all so welcoming (I came up from Folkestone) it's a very, very fine thing that you have going on. Hurrah and Huzzah.

@Roxy, really nice to meet you and so many other names from the forum. I am in picture 9803.
I will have my pictures on a memory stick for saaf drinks tomorrow night, if anyone brings their notebooks they can load up the goodies. Will also have a stonking shot from outside the pub to present to the manger. Corney, can you do the honours?
Wonderful, wonderful day. I cannot help smirking every time I think of it. And Dancing James; you is the man!

I think I saw a dude from the tweed run when I was buying some meat in East Dulwich. Anyone on here?
may have been me dude as i had to return a rented DVD (Remains of the Day) before heading in.
anyway, Teddy, well done dude that was a brilliant day. have never liked the CM style roll through the centre of the big smoke but the turn out, and the way people were turned out, just made that so much fun.
thanks to all who took part. was a fucking great laugh.

Well done everyone!
Lovely to see old friends - and meet new acquaintances - spiffing weather, great route, surprisingly nice police, some fantastic overheard snippets of conversation ("it's like a nightmare out of a Smiths video" and "I recently made a delightful picallili. Turned out a real treat"), the stunning bikes on show, and not to mention the marvellous standard of dress; the bar has been set high for the next(?!) event.
It's a rare - and uplifting - moment when you see an immaculately turned-out olive tweedster glide past on a HHSB rocking an arrospoke.
A memorable day, Chapeau to Teddy for organising - and the sponsors, marshals, and staff at the venues!
Now, hands up who's keeping the mutton chops or 'tache for work tomorrow?...

Throughtout the whole of today a smile has come across my face everytime i have had a snapsnot in my minds eye of the tweed run. The pictures of the day are amazing and capture the mood and hunger for more of the same perfectly. As others before me have said the looks on peoples faces were priceless even patsy kensit had to do a doubletake (my friend swore it was her near oxford street). Riding through charing cross we passed a restaurant or sandwich bar that had window seats facing outwards, i am sure i spotted two people holding their sandwiches four inches from their mouths with their mouths open but unable to move because they were in shock at all the tweed whizzing or gliding past.
My only criticism of the event was that, now you know thats a joke right? :-) because i dont think that word could be included in any sentence with reference to the event. I have been on a high all day. I feel very lucky. yesterday i met, looked at , spoke to and shared a laugh with some very nice people. May i say Thank you to teddy and everybody involved in the organising and smooth running of the day.
Now that we are tweeded up and understand the benefits of coarsely woven wool on wintery days we should do more - we can look upon it as the 'season to tweed'.
The competition for most horny chap and chappette has been voided,,,, its just too close to call, you lot scrub up niiiiice.
Thank you for my prizes my mum and dad are going to be mega chuffed when i tell them. -

I'll have to get that version. I've only got an old frame to work with. And that has a problem getting out of bed in the mornings
sounds like it! i have it safe on the hatstand, we can arrange a reuniting forthwith!
