I've just bought a Salsa Cross Top off Magnus. It's the cat's pyjamas! A little spongey is all. Any recommendations for a better caliper brake. Running a Tektro at the mo'.

I always thought you had to thread it backwards but when I set it up normally I realised that how it worked. (at the time I didn't know that brake cable outers were rigid)

Anyone know anything about these? I'd consider going halves if they're any good and the rear is convertable? -

dunno, but it says they're aerodynamic.
at last! all those terrible front brake wind resistance problems will be history! -

Ha ha. Funny fooker!
Def an issue with me and my Paddy Wagon!
Got a cross-top lever in the post and I'm planning on using it on its own (without drop lever). I have looked online and I can find a few good guides on how to install and use it with drops, but not on its own.
Does anyone use just the cross lever? Any idea how to fit it?
Cheers
Phil.
