There was a couple of community whatsits hanging about the other morning, on a regular one-way that EVERYBODY cycles the wrong way up, near Arnold Circus. It's one of those natural back routes that happens to be one way in both directions at different points, leading to more of the same (Rivington Street).
The Community Cop sort of half-arsedly tried to speak to me as I sailed past smiling. On Boundary Street I saw two puffed out-looking Real Cops pissing about on their bikes, obviously having just not caught up with someone, like me, who uses this route every day. Another puffed-out Bike cop on Rivington Street as well. I can't believe they bother with this crap, I really can't, all mob handed 'hmm this is a cycle black spot right this morning we're gonna hang about there waiting for them to come by and try and catch them.'
The law is an ass. He haww.
