anyone seen Paradox play live? That's intelligent gear.. intelligent use of the beats.. so while I agree that calling something 'intelligent' is daft, at the time in the early 90s when photek, bukem, pfm, source direct, cetracetra were producing really highly thought-out jungle and stripping the amen bare and showed what it was made of, it was simply a nice way to describe this new .. .er ... intelligent sound!
for me tho, these days, it has to be evil.. can't find it on youtube, but Imagination by Dom'n'Roland.. intelligent evil. Vicked!
