I have to say I did have a little trouble getting a 17t and 19t a while back, those numbers are popular cos of the numbers of skid patches thaty give you. But I got em in the end. Guess shops sell those numbers a bit more than the others.

Sorry someone grabbed it last night.
Not great condition (year old) anyway so I dropped the price again.

In my LBS yesterday, we were discussing what gear ratio to go for and someone mentioned 48 x 19. LBS guy said "Good idea except they are as rare as hen's teeth right now." Anyone else heard of this? Sounds odd to me.
Lovely gear size on 27" (630) gives 68.2" gear iirc. 1/2 x 1/8 19T cogs are in relative short supply, Whiskers have been out of stock of their Andell 19T sprockets for ages. Managed to get a Surly 19T from Ison last week, a tenner too expensive though.
We have 3/32 19T sprockets in stock at work, but no 1/8 atm.

I have a 20T I can grind to a 19 if you like.

^ or you could buy a 18T and a bag of spare teeth and simply add an extra one.
Sorry.....

Buy an 18t and a 20t, leave them in a box for a few months with a little bit of grease, and you have hundreds of the little 19t fuckers.

You could run a 46 16, which in 27's would be a 69" gear exactly. Sprockets would have less teeth to spread the wear over though.

I've got one sitting in a drawer at home, been meaning to fit it. Bought it in BLB if that's any help - but as spaghettihoops mentioned Condor had a load when I last looked.

fixieWelcome. Search function should help.
Try: ratio, gear inches, tricks etc or by a few different cogs and try them out till you find what you're comfy with.
