I disagree (obviously). I like the colour and the font/colour of the decals. And the chrome bits, too. As an OTP, it's got a nice kind of retro feel to it.
A friend of mine has an '07 model (the white/red one) and I rode it briefly when I was back home last year. Not bad, if a little heavy. The components were about what you'd expect. For the money, though, I think I'd rather get a KHS Flite. (Maybe slightly pricier?)
