Change is what I have in my pocket, I expect it to be the only change I see for quite some time.

CHUG_IT how do you know Obama is a great man? He's only made speeches as yet. Seems to me his one qualification for being president is that, like all the 43 previous presidents, he's a freemason.

I just hope that all the change that is being promised, will actually happen, but knowing how politicians usually talk out of their asses . . . we'll have to wait and see.

I honestly can't be bothered, though my wife went to the pub to watch it. It IS significant, I guess, due to the fact that Obama is black. He is also really our first 'multicultural' President. So that's pretty cool.

As far as all that 'hope' stuff goes, it's nothing but a load of bollocks. Obama ran a campaign which consisted of little more than empty platitudes like 'hope' and 'change.' But not much in the wayof actual policy or ideas. And then he appointed a bunch of Democratic Party insiders and Clinton leftovers. Change indeed!
