  • Just as a matter of personal taste, I don't like upwards sloping top-tubes..

If that's what floats your boat though..

Agree completely, except that of course the top tube slopes downwards not upwards. ;)

  • mass produced, therefore langsters will always have an image glitch.

  • The Langster angles are .5 degree slacker than the Fuji.
The Fuji wheelbase is shorter by 10 or so mm but the Langster has a shorter chainstay.
    Meh.

  • But it's only about what **I **think of the bike.
Tbh if I really cared about what people thought I'd be paranoid about having an OTP but I'm not! Even if someone on here said the plug looks like a unipack...>_<

You missed the universal ';)' tongue in cheek signifier..

Of course it's only what you think of your bike that matters..

Personally though, I like my front teeth

I just dont like the look of the bikes, if they put a straight fork on it it would deal with a lot of the problem. Not for me.

But if you like it dont let anyone put ya down, buy it, ride it & have a hoot.*

I'd rather go for a Bianchi Pista...... ( let me hear you say BUUUUUH )

  • I miss my old 2005 langster :(

  • I miss my 2006 Langster - Got nicked

    10mm short?

Never bothered any of the girls I've gone out with.

  • I don't miss my 06 langster - my panasonic is much better! But it cost me £150 and was a great first fixed.

  • those straight forks on the old langster look better than the new ones..

I like a bit of rake on the forks, Makes more stable while cycling no handed.

Straight forks are usually the same rake as curved forks (unless that is not what you were referring to)

  • Most likely referring to the trail.

Could be. Although the trail of a 40mm rake straight fork will obviously be the same as the trail of a 40mm curved fork (which is what I was getting at)
An assumption is sometimes made that a straight fork has less rake.

Anyway, I too prefer the look of a straight fork on a modern frame.
