Lady at the Hackney Central Tescos, with a hand painted silver ss (including the mudgards), locked next to my bike, we got chatting, she said she only needed one gear, any more would just break. Then she mentioned that she bought it from her English Teacher (she was Eastern European I think) in 1973 for £8!
