Bolts x 2
Sheet of hardwood.
Cut two large discs out of the hardwood using drill + attachment.
Then cut out two smaller discs which fit snug inside the lips of the headset (for centering, good idea to sand a bit to protect bearing races)
Assemble as below.
(Note that the headset is only ever in contact with wood and therefore will not be scratched, and the centering action of the inner wooden discs prevent slipping and possible headtube damage)
