to be honest if that is the shop that advertises itself with the white bike then don't bother telling them about what it means.
I popped in and had a friendly word ages ago and they denied all knowledge and said they would do something about it.
later I discovered I was not the first to alert them to its significance.

James: read my post in the thread. I try to explain why nothing happened.
And we have a decent number of staff, and no staff meetings. We pass things like that up and not accross if you see what I mean. -

The Bonk - You are a frickin' LEGEND.
Got my head piece this morning. What a fit! And that purple tweed is something else.
I love the fact that it's handmade, and that it's got a personal touch too. You didn't muck around either did you?
Quality through and through.
Thanks a million -

I'm yet to receive my hat but that's because I'm not at the address it was posted to.. Hopefully when I head back to London tomorrow morning it'll be waiting for me (or at least the postie's slip because I don't think any of my housemates were in)
Also, if you want more custom Bonk, I'm sure you'll get more from opening a dedicated thread in the classified & shopping section..

I too had a nice suprise in the post when I arrived home, a lovely handmade, silk lined cap. The only issue is that after wearing it for 5 mins Sarah claimed it as hers, so I will be having to place a second order to the Bonk (although for a prettier head)
see you out there... -

Thanks very much gents. It was a pleasure. Looking forward to meeting you in the flesh.

Indeed, I'm a little late in heaping on the praise, but fuck me the caps are spiffing (especially the pink in the lining!). There will be a second order going in soon enough, but will most likely have to wait until I'm back from Americaland. +1 on the starting a thread in classifieds and shopping

If I have a 57 noggin what size would you recommend; I'd really like the purple. Thanks -

If I have a 57 noggin what size would you recommend; I'd really like the purple. ThanksNo purple left I'm afraid. I can make you one from another fabric, if you like? I can make one with some elastic in, so you get a nice snug fit.
Likewise, need to make some caps first. I'm in Sheffield but would definitely come down for some tweed on stead action.
