  • Bob Weston SOLD
This is either the third or fourth time I've put this up here, people have been interested, but no-ones actually bought it, maybe I've been asking too much for it. It's really nicely constructed (though as the seller I would say that, wouldn't I) and a proper track frame with agressive geometry and no brake drillings. No stickers to confirm it but I'm 99% certain it's 531. Seat tube and top tube are both 55cm C-to-C. Rear spacing is 120mm. Rather than name a price, I'm going to invite offers and if I get one that's attractive I'll sell.

    Gipiemme Low Pro SOLD
This I've also put up here before, had people interested in it, but not interested enough to but it. The pictures speak for themselves, you either love the shape or you don't. I say it's a Gipiemme frame, the fork crown definitely is, but the rear drop-outs are Campagnolo. Clearly it's designed for gears, but has horizontal drop-outs so could be fixed. Seat tube is 65cm centre to top, top tube is approximately 60cm C-to-C, though you'll appreciate it's a tad tricky to measure. I'm selling the frame and forks with a 650c front wheel which is a Gipiemme hub laced to a Nisi tubular rim. Again rather than name a price, I'm going to invite offers and if I get one that's sufficiently attractive sell.

    Another Low-Pro frame SOLD
Another Low Pro, this time with a seat tube thats about 5cm shorter, unfortunately this one's got vertical drop-outs, so you'd need a White Industries Eno hub to fix it. Again it has the seat stays shot into the top tube, making a third triangle, just like the Gipiemme, the GT GTB I just brought and the Low Pro I've just commissioned, so I must like them. Makes the frame very stiff. Frame is built in 531 Professional, has a tube in the top tube to conceal the rear brake cable, rear spacing is 130mm. I'd intended to have this retro-fitted with track drop-outs and respaced to 120mm. Maybe someone else will be tempted to do it now. Seat tube and top tube are both 60cm C-to-C. I paid £75 for it and that's what I'm looking for, for it.

Carlton Frame STILL AVAILABLE, 1st DIBS UMMAR 01
Fairly sure this is an old Carlton frame, equaly sure it's made of 531. Someone clearly intended to get this completely chromed, only got halfway, getting the whole thing Zinc plated. Has horizontal drop-outs so would be a breeze to fix. If the buyer wanted to set it up single speed or geared and wanted a vintage build somewhere I've got some NOS Weinmann centrepull brakes that could be fitted to this. Seat tube is 56cm C-to-C top, top tube is 57.5cm C-to-C. I paid £45 for this, so thats what I'm looking for, for it.

No name track frame with fancy lugs STILL AVAILABLE, WAITING FOR A COUPLE OF INTERESTED PEOPLE TO GET BACKA TO ME
I bought this off of ebay as I thought it was a Fixie Inc. frame, it isn't, its older than that, though I'm not sure just how old. Does have a nice twin plate crown style fork and fancy lugs, it also clearly needs repainting. It's a proper track frame with no drillings for brakes front or rear. Seat tube is 51cm C-to-C and the top tube is 55cm C-to-C. Rear spacing is 120mm. I paid £215 for it, which was probably over the odds for it, so willing to take a hit over it, but I'm not gonna give it away. I'm looking for £200 and would get it re-sprayed and sell in the Summer once it's refurbed before I took a major hit on it.

  • Interested in the white lo-pro.... Any chance of a
    ball park figure....?

  • want the middle one, but i dont have the money to refurbish it nicely, want the bob weston but too small!

    FFS

  • The Bob Weston is my size and absolutely my cuppa tea... but I can't. I really can't. Really.

  • ok, middle one. 700 on front or 650? if 700 dibs

    i cant help myself

  • Ha... well if the crane ain't interested I am on the low pro multi coloured :)

  • Oh and the old frame has nervex lugs, it looks kinda 60's... I maybe wrong, I often am :)

  • my plan is fill in the brake holes, whip a set of these on

    respaced to 120

and give it a swish paint job

will still probably be cheaper than waiting for one which requires less work

  • Good choice sir, that's exactly what i'd do.

If you change your mind monsier crane...... :)

  • TheCrane, I've PM'd you, but think I forgot to say the frame takes a 650c front wheel, not a 700c, no probs if that means you're no longer interested.

  • no i'm still 100% interested. (sorry BoBoB)

    pm'd you back

i was in tour de ville on friday and saw a huge stack of chrome forks, so its not hard to change

  • Bob Weston is a pretty thing like.

    Fucking hell..

When I put this up on the forum in the Summer I was looking for £225-250 for the frame, fork and front wheel, I know this is a lot, but it's a nice frame and I paid more than this. On the other hand I'm realistic and realise it's unrealistic I'm going to get this for it, so ball park I was thinking £200ish. What do you think?

  • PolyBike - Holy shit dude you have a hell of a lot of bike bits! Jealous. If I didn't have 2ndary dibbs on the Fort I'd be going for one of these...

  • Bob Weston is a pretty thing like.

    Fucking hell..

I'd clean it and clearcoat it. All black wheelset, White Rolls, White Soyos on risers. Silver Sugino 75s...

Another tasty bike I don't need!

  • is this the one you want crane? if so, 2nd/3rd dibs??

  • i have a lo pro frame which ill be listing. the bottom bracket is a campag italian thread not british.

  • I'd clean it and clearcoat it. All black wheelset, White Rolls, White Soyos on risers. Silver Sugino 75s...

Another tasty bike I don't need!

Aye. another bike I can't take with me!

  • Is the white low pro really a 65cm? That's huge!

  • If it was £175 then I'd snap it up.

  • Will you take £180 for the last frame?(you thought it was a fixie inc bike)

  • You've got pms poly

  • one of the ways of checking if it's 531 tubing is to check the seat post......if it's 27.2 you're well on your way to confirming your suspicions!

  • The white lo pro... Any ideas what standard frame size it is comparable too. I ride 59, am interested if you still have.
