I actually thought the OP made a quite useful post (for a change ;)).
All you other fuckers can piss right off.. at least until you learn how to fix a puncture and ride in a straight line. :P
You can get higher capacity NiMH batteries off ebay. I think I have 2600mAh.
DFP: As for not spending more than £5 on lights - wtf? You've never ridden on a country lane after dark I take it.
I think Hat He Chewed's list is much more specific to London :)
