Right, so, I got my new bolt, and yep, you guessed it. It shredded it. So My beautiful, complete bike can't be ridden because I can secure the seat. JOY! But, I have a plan that doesn't involve Mercian and a blowtorch. I'm going to take it into the metal shop at Chelsea and re-drill it. Then insert a same sized rod, tapped on either end and used a nut and bolt on one side and something else on the other side to allow me to tighten it, because its not your normal seat pin fastening. I'm hoping that will work, and I think it will. Because if not, the alternative (Mercian) is fucking expensive and time consuming and sad because I just want to ride her.
However, I've taken a picture of it with a seat in (albeit SUPER low down) so you can see it, and hopefuly understand why I'm so frustrating. The colours are all a bit lighter in the picture thanks to mr flash and not having photoshop at hand, but it gives you an idea. Sorry for the clutter in the back ground. I don't have much room going spare...
P.S. I'm thinking I should go for a baby pink saddle rather then the fluro red/pink rolls. And put the rolls on my other ride. Its a really quite different pink too the rest of the pinks, even the grips (which I may change for baby pink Champs).

It's silver so the velocity wouldn't match.
we'll have to see. Would love a hed3 but money and availability play a big part.

Thats the only picture for now. Once its all sorted and ready, with the seat at a proper height, with a proper [read: Dura Ace aero] seat post then I'll take it outside and do a few pictures at proper angles against a "less busy" background when there is natural light around. -

(personal opinion) I think that is horrible none of the pinks are the same color and it clashes really badly with the baby blue frame. but if you are happy then thats cool

why can´t you get something like that? wouldn't that solved the problem?
Thats exactly what I'm planning to do, but the threads need drilling out, because they'll strip all the threads off one side of that bolt, making it useless. But Basically thats what I'm going to do.

Thats kool mate. I didn't think every one would like. I really like clashing colours. :) But (because the photo colours are poo) its worth nothing that the frame isn't that light in real life (wish it was though) and the pink is all the same, with just the saddle/grips and toe clip straps being different, and most are pretty close. Its just the saddle thats a problem, given that the other two will grubby up very soon. :0
Ahh that's unfortunate harry!! So there's something wrong with the threads inside the frame?
Before you drill anything, I think it might just be powdercoat that's snuck into the threads. it probably just needs re-chasing.

I've chased the powdercoat out. Its not that. Cos the bolt that came with the frame when I got it off ya were destroyed when I took it out (probably by the act of taking it out. It might just be one bit though. Whatever it is I'll sort it out on Monday in the metal shop. -

Ha, yeah, I guess. 'twas cheap. I have my eyes out for a non drop long quill, but I'm in no hurry. Its the same set up that ASM had on it when I rode it, and it was really really comfortable. So thats it I guess. Comfort factor. Plus I quite like all the swoops and curves. I'm a man of bad taste according to most. :P. You should see my wardrobe.
But basically this is much more me then my all white rig. I always look odd, so I should have an odd bike. Knowing people don't like its look / its devisive makes me happy. :)
P.S. You can put it in Anti-porn when its finished if you want. I'd enjoy that.

What make is that frame? Looks good, I really like the silver H+Son. You could get a silver front with a breaking surface, it wouldn't show up that much.
