Wanted: Geared - Campag bits from the 80's and stuff

I'm after some decent parts for a back to gears conversion.

I need:

Downtube levers - There is a bracket on the frame still...
Drop brake levers
Front Rear Mech - (not sure on seat tube diameter yet...)

Some nice drop bars of sorts. (suggestions?)

Very muted yellow/brown/ orange colour grip tape

Anyone? can collect in london - can paypal & postage..

I have a tonne of old 6-7 speed bits. Let me have a poke around this afternoon and see if I can help you. Pretty sure I have some lovely gold Mafac levers with gum hoods. I'll get back to you later on…

re: 6-7spd bits - I have a few too - but i'm after campag mechs & shifters in particular.

ive quite a few bits im gonna put them up for sale tmoz, got a couple of good bar sets, (cinelli champion del mondo, cinelli 1a stem + 3ttt super competizione with a 3ttt stem) campag super record front and rear mech, campag super record seatpost, and a few other bits and bobs.

Got the perfect set of bars for this kinda build, a set of Cinelli Giro D'Italia mod.64 drops with the old engraved logo but unusually drilled for internally run brake cables from the kind of levers you intend to use. VGC, esp. around the centre clamp/logo area, 40cm CtC. £20.

Also got Mirage F&R 8spd. mechs (front clamp-on for 26.8), various downtube shifters.

Bars sound interesting. Mechs sound good too. what era is your mirage stuff? I'll figure out out my seat tube diameter (unless anyone knows std Reynolds 531 - 1981 Bob Jackson size...)

What down tube shifters have you got? are they Campag?

Come and have a look at the bars if you are in London - they are pre-threaded with retro outer cables. The Mirage stuff must be late 90's/early 2k I'm guessing... if it's 531 the seat tube will be 26.8mm, i.e. same as the Mirage front mech fitting ;-) £15 the pair? The shift levers are un-branded so I doubt they are of interest, in fact if anyone want them they're free to good home.

Retro - I think i'm sorted for bars now. Thanks for the offer on mirage stuff - but i'm trying to keep the components from the same era as the frame - i'm not being anal - but at least with in 5 years. . .

Hoping to get some respite from work this week... i'll go at some point...

I've a campag rally rear mech, campag down tube shifters and a campy front derailler all from 1980s bob jackson. Good condition and work perfectly. Let me know if you're intrested/already sorted...couldn't be arsed to read the whole page! If jeanmi doesn't want them then I'm open to offers from others. Pics if wanted.
