Are there any particular advantages/disadvantages, does anyone think, to doing this kind of ride at the weekend (I'm assuming those dates are for January)?
The 31st is the Calshot track day with RPM et al, so I'd definitely be out for that one.
Got my supplementary torch today :) A Romisen rc-n3 q5 that I've now squeezed into a little tube jacket thing made out of inner tube (more of a struggle than fitting a tight tyre to a rim), and attaches neatly to my lid with a couple of old velcro straps that I think I used at one point to strap a frame pump to my top tube.
Anyway, I'll probably get slagged off now for discussing the minutiae of lighting systems :(
