Nice work lankysmith! You can tell anyone to HTFU for the next 4 weeks, free of charge.
Just so you know. I've ripped gloves up in minor accidents and broken collarbones without touching hands to ground, so unless you've got someone who saw what happened... well.. um.. gurgle blurble need more beer.. urgle... -

yikes. good to hear that all will be sorted. any form of memory loss and concussion is always scary. if it was a collision, hope someone got details of the other party.
i broke my collarbone this time last year. and that was without my hands reaching out for the ground. a clean hip and shoulder impact against the road surface. docs never operated on my broken collarbone. movement's ok, but right arm sometimes goes numb when i sleep on that side. ages til i was able to lift my arm (showering took twice as long). took about 8wks til i was able to get back on the bike.

Heal up soon, Sam!
That sounds horrible Sam. Heal fast.
I've been on morphine too and it's pretty much as you describe it, a feeling of blissful vagueness. I don't think you remember much more than that. :-)
