I reckon it could be good - done a bit more looking around and it's meant to be ok even after rain and there's a different train station right next to it. Meant to be hard to find tghe singletrack but I'm sure we'll cope!
Trains from Waterloo at 0850 or 0920 which get us really near the mountain biking at 0959 or 1029. Still forecasting some early rain so I reckon we get the 9.20 - what do you think?
