oh deary me.....
you could manufacture a wedge type system to lever the crank off.... between the BB and the crank arm.
that would preserve the cranks without hitting it with a lump hammer.
once you've got the crank off you can properly chase the threads ?
nice cranks. the thieving bastard obviously knew they were worth stealing.
