Spotted...

Cycled up and saw a very tall gent on a Surly Steamroller in Rotherhithe. Turns out he was not4sale on this forum (I always ask). We cycled up part of the towards Tower Bridge. Going to different parts of Old Street.

Good to meet you, and maybe hope to see you next time at South-Easties next Tuesday.

I hadn't even realised that the Steamroller's chainstays were so sexily curvy. Very nice.

Well from what i've heard of locking bikes up there and them getting trashed by restraunt owners, no :P

Brick Lane's pretty tame at all hours. But that's in reference to being mugged (as you said), not locking your bike up, which I wouldn't do for long.

I would rather insert a spoon into my nutsack, tear out a bollock with it and stuff it down my throat with a white wine chaser than ride along oxford st. So, err, no. Not I.

I don't think that incident was on Brick Lane per se, it was on Woodseer St, which is a side road off it. Brick Lane itself is very safe - having lived near it for 3 years I have never had any problem at all.

white vivalo with blue decals and a bright pink rolls saddle on high holborn earlier this morning. If you got that frame from cavendish, I nearly had that frame myself, very nice!

Where do these bright pink Rolls saddles come from? This is the second time I've heard about them.... but Google yields nothing.

I think they are old stock Vic. So they come up every now and again but aren't widely available. My mate had one and I seem to remember it costing him a fair bit. I'm after one so if you find out, let me know!

I'm pretty sure I've seen a trade show pic of all the flouro ones recently which suggests they're resissueing them too. It's badly bugging me that I can't remember where it was but if I remember I'll let you (both) know.
