Online's the cheaper option, anyway.

Yeh just hard to tell how big the bags are, I wouldn't need a huge one but I'd need to fit a bit of stuff in it all the same....change of clothes, laptop etc.

Just get on Scott's list for an Archie's, that's my plan... wait it out :)
Value for money his bags look to be streets ahead of everything else

Yeh, they are great looking bags, but is the list not about 6 months or so? I need a bag quicker that that. Online it is then I guess.

You working as a curryer(sic) then or just getting one for convenience??
I'm in no rush for one so I 'm waiting for an Archie's

Ah no, just commuter, but my backpack just doesn't hold enough, isn't waterproof at all, and that style bag is more comfortable. Headin to oz for 2months too, and need something to carry laptop and few bits in too.
Archies bags are nice though, which one did you go for, and did he give you any idea how long the wait would be?

I got myself (cough) a postbag when I left An Post a few years ago when I worked as a postman, loads of room, proper stitching, comfortable fit... it still serves me well.

Yeah bagaboos are good, if you really want a good bag I would go for a bagjack, got an old torn one that I will fix for myself but they are very good, and HUUUGE.
The xl will fit a pc tower plus a spare set of clothes. -
